what we do Header image - young office employees

“We have been using Waytime for 6 years to cover absences, and for issues that I cannot resolve myself. Their prompt, knowledgeable and flexible approach, has never let us down. I would recommend them highly to any small business looking for a friendly service that can be customised to their needs.”

Top Facebook tips

Here are a few tips for keeping safe on Facebook

  1. Check your privacy options.  Originally everything was locked down - now almost everything is public.
  2. Stick to Friends Only.  Anything you do want to make available, switch it to Friends Only. Friends of Friends opens you up to spammers
  3. Separate your friends. Facebook lets you categorise Friends by group, separating work colleagues from friends or family.  Remember, it's not just what you post - if one of your friends tags you dancing on a table at a party, that'll appear in your feed too
  4. Check your permissions.  Facebook now plugs into many websites, which can also access your data.  You should regularly check that you've given them all permission in "Applications Settings".  If you see an application that you don't recognise, cancel its access
  5. Be wary of the adverts.  Facebook doesn't check all the banner ads on their site so if you click on the advert you may be installing some spyware.
