Connected Benefits is a leading provider of innovative, employee benefits schemes. They’re based in Farnham, Surrey although they also have some remote workers.
The existing email system didn’t allow them to share contacts and calendars or more importantly for them was the lack of ability to share email accounts.
Migrate all 36 mailboxes over to Microsoft Office 365 and ensure the following:
- No email downtime in business hours
- No loss of email, contacts, calendars
- All signatures, archive files present in Outlook upon staff’s return to the office
- Install the latest Office 2016 package to replace 2010
What we did
Configured all the back-end Office 365 system ready for the migration date, this included creating all the users mailboxes and preparing the domain.
- Outlook settings were taken note of and data exported
- Office software reinstalled with the new Office 365 licence
- Outlook configured with new mailbox and previous settings such as signature and archive files
- Data imported from old email system and all users tested
Everything was completed over a weekend and thoroughly tested although one of us was onsite on the Monday in case of any queries or teething issues.
Another delighted client! No downtime and all the advantages of the collaborative features of Office 365. Bringing their email functionality in to the 21st century.
