Make the most of these handy keyboard shortcuts...

Most PCs now come with a Windows keyboard which includes a Windows key (located at the lower left corner between the Ctrl and Alt keys).  Try these shortcuts to save time:

Windows Key + E  -->  this will open a new Explorer Window

Windows Key -->  displays the Start Menu

Windows Key + D  -->  minimises all windows and shows the desktop.  Press it again to go back to where you were

Windows Key + F  -->  displays the Find all files dialog box

Windows Key + M  -->  minimizes all open windows

Windows Key + Shift + M   -->  restores all previously open windows to how they were before you minimised them

Windows Key + R  -->  displays the Run command

Windows Key + F1  -->  displays the Windows Help menu

Windows Key + Pause/Break -->  displays the System Properties dialog box

Windows Key + Tab  -->  cycle through the buttons on the Task Bar

Windows Key + U  -->  displays the Utility Manager with accessibility options
