You’ve heard of Office 365 but what’s Microsoft 365?
In Microsoft’s words, it’s “a complete, intelligent solution, including Office 365, Windows 10, and Enterprise Mobility + Security, that empowers everyone to be creative and work together, securely”
So now you know!
In other words, it’s Office 365 and then some. It includes:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
- Email along with shared calendars, contacts and tasks
- File storage and sharing
- Data protection controls
- The latest version of Windows…the safest ever
- Cyberthreat protection
- Easy administration and deployment
- 99.9% uptime guaranteed
It’s an easy way to share files amongst your team so you can work on them together, even if you’re all in different locations. If you won’t always have internet connectivity then you can download what you need, work on the files and they’ll be automatically synchronised next time you’re online.
It’s aimed at SMEs that don’t want to have a dedicated server to manage user accounts and security.
But hold fire…it isn’t available yet. It’s looking like we’ll have to wait until the end of the year.
